Konak is a district of Izmir province in Turkey. It is located in the north of Izmir Bay, in the northeast of Bayraklı, in the east of Bornova, in the south of Buca and Karabağlar, and in the west of Balçova.
It is characterized by works that have survived from ancient times to the present day, works from the Ottoman period, but mostly works from the Republican period. Konak is a popular destination for all local and foreign tourists as it is the cultural, artistic and entertainment center of Izmir.
