Located on the outskirts of Babadağ, the village consists of 3 separate neighborhoods: Hisar Mahallesi, Orta Mahallesi and Kabak Mahallesi. Since the ancient Lycian Way passes through Faralya Village, those who embark on an adventure to walk the Lycian Way generally use the village as a resting point.
Faralya is also very close to Fethiye and Ölüdeniz. The distance between them and Fethiye is 25 kilometers and the village is only 8 kilometers from Ölüdeniz.
